This is my all time favorite Disney movie. I can't remember how many times I watched it when I was a kid. Last night while dealing with Round 3 of my insomnia, I caught up on all the old Disney cartoons I could remember. This scene still tugs the heart strings.

Exhibit B - The Wheel of WonderDeath. This ride seems like it's tame but it's NOT. My life flashed before my eyes. Maybe because that ride is soooo old. I feared some screws would come loose and send five 20-somethings into the crowd below.

Last Friday, I received something in the mail which I had forgotten about. I had requested this months ago but didn't really think I'd get it. It'll just be placed in a box along with ticket stubs, photos and embarrassing items of my youth. Anyway here it is.
Moving along.
My 4th was spent in cabs going from one party to the next. Since I'm perpetually late, I did not arrive to my first destination until 8:00pm. Fireworks were to start around 9 or 9:30. After drinks number 1 - 4, whilst listening to a Belle & Sebastian member DJ, it was time to skedaddle to our next location. One quick stop at another bar and a change of clothes, we make it to our first rooftop party. By that time, the fireworks were already heard as we rang the buzzer. We make it upstairs and I have just enough time to snap the following.
The last thing I wanted to mention is that I recently found a cassette single of "When The Lights Go Out" by 5ive. I don't remember purchasing this but I guess I needed my fix in between all the 'NSync phenomenon at that time.Baby, when the lights go out

Karate Kommandos Thursday, July 06, 2006 musical chimes
During an early morning skype session, Fainty and I started looking up all the 80s cartoons we could remember. One thing led to another and I found Karate Kommandos. I could not believe I used to watch this Chuck Norris cartoon. I loved it even. Lame as this may sound but I was inspired to take up Karate (say it like Ross from Friends) . My mother thought otherwise. In fact, she laughed at me and told me to play Nintendo instead. No wonder I was able to finish Super Mario Bros. 2 within hours. If only I was able to learn the Karate back then. Who knew what I could be capable of now. I could have been PeanutButterWolf -- woman of action! PeanutButterWolf with her mighty ninja skills and lovely lady lumps! Yeah I like how that sounds.
